I thought it would be fun to share some of the ruby red popcorn seed that i have ......if you havent grown popcorn it is fun.. stalks are about 4 ft tall and get 2 to 4 ears on each one. The ears are 1 to 3 inches long . Doesnt need a big area to grow as the plants need to be right up to each other to pollinate ..
I enjoy popping it instead of the reg popcorn from the store ..

I would love to try and grow some popcorn, does it do well in cooler northern climates?

amy.you plant in spring when frost is over with ..usually come middle may. Soak the seek overnight or two days in water before planting will help it sprout quicker
