Yes, it's a weird name, but it is an unbelievable hoop. I would love to buy to barter for one. I've seen them 16 x 8-9 inches or a round hoop. Don't care. If anyone has one and wants to part with it, please let me know.

Wow, I've never heard of them or seen anyone use one. Are they vintage? Or modern???

I am assuming because of its name, it aboriginal or Australian made. The bungee cord allows a looser hold on the layers of a quilt and some prefer this looseness when quilting. I know I don't like a right tight hoop so I'd love to quilt with one of these hoops.

I googled and found this info, and don't you live in Washington, Sylvia? How far are you from Snohomish? It also looks like they applied for a patent but didn't follow through or something. It is no longer being marketed in the US. So the only way you might find one is used. Maybe try craigslist.com in your area?

BUHOOGEE is a product created by Patches Palette, Inc. in 15627 Broadway , Snohomish, , 98296. The BUHOOGEE is a product related to quilting hoops; specifically, hoops used to secure fabric during the process of making a quilt. The BUHOOGEE product is no longer being marketed in the United States. The BUHOOGEE is in the category of Lace, Ribbons, Embroidery and Fancy Goods .

Get in contact with the owner, Patches Palette, Inc. of this BUHOOGEE, or visit them at their place of business in the map. Write a review about the product with this BUHOOGEE.

Or, contact the owner Patches Palette, Inc. of the BUHOOGEE trademark by filing a request to communicate with the Legal Correspondent for licensing, use, and/or questions related to BUHOOGEE. Patches Palette no longer is a business. Our local Craiglist doesn't have any listed. Etsy had a few but I missed them. Ebay's
at zero It will be a tough one to find but I'll keep looking for it. I'll occasionally hit up this place 'cause you never know.....Persistence and patience.

Newsflash! I found a Buhoogee and two Norwood bungee hoops. None of them look like they've been used. Buhoogee hoop measures 14 x 8, Norwood circle hoop, one is 17", other is 13"

The hoops are beautiful! So, will you be getting your Buhoogee hoop after all?
