Hello, I was not sure if I should ask the question here or over in another section . Is it possible for a baby to develope a contact dermatitis to cloth diapers ? My daughter has been using cloth diapers and recently her baby of 4 months developed a rash over not just his bottom but arm legs belly and face. Any advice of what else to look at or for?

Yes, there can be a reaction but I would be more apt to think it is not the diaper as most are made of cotton. Could be the soap. Sounds like with it being everywhere that it is more likely the soap she is using to wash his clothes in. I would suggest rinsing everything with vinegar after washing and rinse again after the vinegar rinse. Hope you figure it out.
