I am hoping to finish my sewing theme quilt this weekend or early next week before starting a new quilt, Seahawk theme. I will post photos soon.

I love the quilt, Sylvia. I am just starting to learn quilting. Did you have a pattern or just work out the fabric arrangements randomly?

The baby quilt is a pattern called Picket Fence. It was easy to cut out and sew up. I own a longarm quilting machine so quilting it went very well. When I do baby quilts, I machine stitch the binding. Don't know how many times it'll be washed, dragged around, etc. I love antique quilt patterns. Own lots of books.

Well,,, go figure,,, I have a container of 'apron' pre-cut out fabric...and trims,,, all I need to do is sit down and sew... but do I ???
Oh heck No! I decided to start another apron from scratch...
.
there are 9 ready to assemble aprons in this container...

but,,, I did finish another cashmere scarf...

I pre-cut the re-purposed cashmere sweaters and put them in baggies so when I need a project or quick gift,,, I pull the cut pieces out, stitch and decorate... Voila' !

So at least I finally got my 1st UFO for 2017 finished! whoot whoot!

Ugghhhh. So I decided to finally decorate for Valentine's Day (I know I know...) and pulled out my box of "winter" decorations that are everything other than Christmas. And what do I find? UNFINISHED projects! Ugghhh! So I decided to use a few of them for a swap (I'll post pictures later) and then got another one finished and hung it up in my kitchen. The kids are pretty excited, as I am terrible at decorating - I just don't do much of it. What can I say... I usually give everything away that I make :) Anyways I'll post the pictures of my finished UFOs as soon as the individual gets the items :)

Shannon, it's it funny how those UFOs hide in out of the way places and ambush you when you least expect it? Hopefully, they will be easy to finish and will be liked by your swap partner.

I agree. I just found another UFO this weekend that's sitting in the bottom of my spare closet. When those UFOs are out of sight, they really are out of mind.

And a Valentine quilt....this was made with jelly roll strips and to be honest, I'd rather cut my own and not deal with the pinked edges of the pre cut strips.

Debbie, your projects are beautiful!!! I should get off this computer and work on one. Are the blanket and burp cloth fleece?
Your quilting is beautiful!

Thank you girls! Judith, the blanket and burp cloth are flannel. I just serged and turned the edge on the blanket under and crocheted around it. The burp cloth is double sided, sewn right sides together and then I added the crocheted edge to match.

Debbie, The quilt is beautiful! I agree the precuts and the pinked edges make for more fuzzies to clean out of your machine as well.

Nice job, Debbie! You have been busy!

I have finished my second UFO! I finally finished a pair of monster pants for my boy. They are a bit long on his legs.
