Thanks ladies!
I bought the kit at the Minnesota Quilters show a couple of weekends ago, its from Liberty Homestead, they have an on-line shop. They vend at the quilt show each year and each year I buy a new kit. They also have embroidery patterns that are cute. I have an autumn one I really like their hand dyed fabrics.

Last night I finally got around to gluing my wooden letter S in Spring. It had fallen off of my stand and broke, so for the longest time we were pring instead of Spring. Now it's time for summer decorations, but at least it's good to go for next year!

Dennis love your wall hanging. I too have been outside or traveling so my UFO are waiting. I working my first quilt a rail fence pattern. I set the sewing machine up and sew 2 or more sets of strips.

It's so true, Grace. I would say about 75 percent of my UFOs are my wood blocks that need a quick simple fix. Some only need the bows tied on and they are done. I don't understand why I put it off so much. Love the picture! I actually feel that exact way today! Was a rough night with a teething toddler. I have had enough! Lol

Ruthie,
I like rail fence quilts. I end up working on things in small spurts most of the time, usually after work or late at night. Once in a while I have a big junk of time, but that is few and far between.

Well... this isn't exactly a UFO... but... a few steps toward one...lol!
Last night I dorted through all my stacks of crafting/ gardening magazines (10 years worth).... sorted them...bundled them up by Name and now they will be going to our local Library for their book sale.
I bundled them up in 'years'... so I have Victoria bundles... Romantic homes...Flea Market.. etc.. (notice my MJF mags are not in there?) Lol!
I did the same with all my different gardeing mags.
Our library sells the bundles for $1.... and I like that someone else can enjoy them.

Now that, that is done... maybe I can work on a real UFO! Lol!

Well ladies, I have been gone for a while trying to get the new apartment set up. Now we will have to move again! Lowell's father doesn't want to leave Florida so he has offered to buy out the lease. AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH! I am not looking forward to this.

I'll get this thread updated in the next couple days.

Grace, that IS a real UFO. As I have said here before (or maybe not), any project that has been waiting to be done and calling out is a UFO.

It totally counts, Grace! That's a lot of work going through all them, sorting and bundling. I bet you feel better have that done and out of the way.

So sorry, Marie. Moving sucks. Hopefully you weren't all the way unpacked.

Oh Krista,,, I do....

and,,,
I finished up another cobbler apron that has been sitting with it's 2 remaining siblings...lol!

the print is sunflowers on a sage green background...

these are the last 2 cobbler aprons (cut out).. I did sew the ties and I sergered all the raw edges... now all I need to do is stitch/assemble them...
And then I am DONE with cobblers for awhile!
I originally cut out 12 of them....(last June).. they truly are/were UFO's!

So I went through my stash boxes made a flannel dinosaur blanket . Used my diapers and elephant fabric to make burp cloths. I completed 3 fleece tie blankets. All for gifts. Now to get them in the mail. Moving right along.

Agreed, Joanna! We live in Central Oregon and we are in the heart of this Total Solar Eclipse that is happening on Monday. Our area is being SWARMED with tens of thousands of people over the next few days so I've decided to stay in the safety of my sewing room and get some things done!!! haha

My plan is to get back at it in September, after the summer winds down. Lots of 4-H events, canning tomatoes, and Fibre camps to get out of the way first. Then back at the projects sitting on the back burner and time to start some new badges. I always love fall, it is such a time for new projects and starting fresh for me. Much more so than New Year's Day.

So happy I am not alone!! LOL!! The best part of this is discovering what I have started, what needs finishing or needs to be passed along to someone else.
