This may seem like a long time to wait on a swap...but my world has gotten busy with DH's surgeries, so just to have something to look forward to I'll go ahead and post it!

What about making from a pair of blue jeans, a summer purse? All you have to do is cut the legs off at the stride and sew a seam, add a handle, and of course lots of decorations and there you have it a cute purse!...think of finding a pair of blingy jeans that young women wear and that would be so cute with added decorations...You could even do a themed purse like bees, retro, vintage, and such. Add a bandana to the waist band to add color, or just a piece of fabric to go along with your theme. The sky is your limit~!~
So for this swap you will need:
1 pair of blue jeans-blingy if you can find them
fabric or bandana
material for a handle
extra bling and decorations for the purse
As always do your best work and have fun doing it
Sign up ends April 10th
Mail out May 25th
When you sign up, list a three of your likes for a themed purse
You can never be too kind!

Please sign me up. I also have a huge pile of jeans that I'm going to use to weave a rag rug, but I can easily spare a pair to make a bag. What a fun idea.

Those purses are so cute, Grace!! I have one granddaughter and it is so fun making things for her. My little grandson loves things too, so I make him items too!!
Thanks, Marilyn, for your kind thoughts. My DH had cancer surgery last Friday but should make a good recovery. It was in his prostate in several areas but it had not spread, thankfully!! He will have knee surgery to check for a blood infection on the tenth of April, then another surgery for knee replacement in his left knee. This has been going on for 16 months. We are blessed, though!!

Beth, I am glad they were able to get the cancer out and it had not spread. You still have several months to go with the knees, don't you. God is good. He will see you through. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
