Hi there Farmgirls,
We're just about to celebrate our annual Farmgirl Jubilee  and I heard it told that it is the Year of the Rooster!
Thought it would be fun to have a Rooster/Hen/Chicken themed swap! Many of you own chickens and I know many others who like chicken themed decorations in their yards, homes, etc.
Here's the Scoop:
1. You would send a chicken themed item to your partner. Examples would be, decorator items, dishes, apron, kitchen/tea towels, napkins/tablecloth, collectibles, etc., etc.
2. Be as creative as you wish, but let's not spend lots of cash.

SIGNUPS will CLOSE ON FRIDAY, MAY 5th

If you get started on your swap now, you'll have plenty of time to mail out once you know who your partner is.

Ginger, my sweet Rooster/Hen/Chicken swap package arrived. Wow, the handmade folded journal is so sweet and full of more homemade surprises, Their are Roosters, Hens and Chickens every where! In addition there are also delightful cards and yummy teas. Farmgirls are so talented! I will take a picture today of all my lovely treasures and post it. But, I wanted to let you know the package arrived. Thank you so much for all the sweetness, and that is what rooster/hens and chickens are sweetness!

Oh my goodness, look what flew into my mail box late yesterday afternoon!! Isn't that envelope just the cutest ever?? Thank-you April for so many wonderful , bright and cheery additions for my kitchen. Hubby and I already devoured the Lindt chocolate and the Kind bars are a favorite of mine too. This was such a fun swap and I appreciate your sending such a sweet and fun package! Everything is going to be enjoyed.

Grace, I received your package today. A beautiful rose card,a super cute pen to wear on my jackets, a cup towel with a hen and my name embroidered on it!!! (I have never had a cup towel with my name on it before.)
Do you have an embroidery machine? A vintage napkin to remind me of the things I did as a teen. The picture frame is so cool, unique. I have never seen one like it before. I love everything. Thank you so much..jpg?v 92298589)

Yes I have an embroidery machine,,, as for the magnetic fridg quilted photo frame, I used the Maryjane Farm fabric of roosters & hens... just add a photo of your liking and place it on the fridge,,,

Julie, yours will go out in tomorrow's mail, again I am sorry it will be late. I just do not remember things like I use too and forgetting it on the dining room table when I went to town this morning was so silly.

Alicia, how exciting. Will your husband make the farm move also or will he have to commute back to his job?

Alicia I see you have been busy...a Facebook farm page, and a you tube channel. Wow! I am impressed. You even had a visit with the folks from The Great American Farm Tour.
