I've been itching for another altered file folder pocket and thought it may be fun to tune this in to this years Jubilee and the year of the rooster.
Like the two previous altered file folder swaps, this would require any file folder, sides enclosed with some sort of ribbon, jute, lace or other creative material to create the pocket effect and decorated on the outside to correspond with this years Jubilee and the Year of the Rooster theme.
Once decorated, enclose 3 or 4 small items into the file folder that would also go along with this theme and something a farmgirl would love to receive.
I have found these altered file folders a sweet enclosure to a 3 ring binder scrap book, perfect for keeping little keepsakes, and also for getting organized with recipes in the kitchen and paperwork in the office.
Sign up ends April 28th with mail out by May 5th!

Hi Deborah, you can view previous altered file folder swaps to get some ideas - swap titles were: 2017 hopes and dreams folder swap is on page 2 and Grateful Heart and Altered File Folder swap on page 3 under swaps. Let me know if you can't locate them and I'll try to figure out how to post pictures of previous altered folders for you.

I'm preparing to draw partners, but was curious if Deborah Meyer was joining? If the remaining ladies are okay, I'll push assigning partners until Sunday in hopes of a response from Deborah - I would hate to leave her out if she wants to participate. So excited! My Altered folder arrived today and I love it! I also will be using the lovely kitchen towels and that notepad sure will come in handy for sure. Marlee you did a wonderful job. Thank you so much!

Oh Ginger I am glad you like it. I hunted for the towels with the roosters on it. The pics of the roosters I found them a while ago and I thought what could I use them on. And sweet April opened the door. YAY!!!

I received my altered file folder today and what a FUN surprise! What a darling folder with all the pockets and tags! Sweet Marlee actually got me started on LOVING tags of all kinds and now I may be TAG addict!! Not that I want one, but is there a cure for that!? LOL!! Thank you! Now, off to find a special use for this new pretty file folder!!

Whoohoo! Sarah I got my file folder and I just LOVE It. WOW. Love the 3D card on the front and doilies and jubilee note The little broom and flower with bliss. And the how you closed it. I don't know how to post pics but hubby does I will try to get him to help me. So every one can see it. Me telling it doesn,t do it justice.
And inside, how did you know I like pink polka dots, the gloves are so cute. The pack of tissue are so cute and in my purse they go. Before niece's get here. And the sweet xoxo cards. Boy! Sarah , Thank you, thank you. U my sweet friend know me well. LOVE IT
