It's time to start signing up for MAY Mail Art! (I'm not quite sure where April went!)
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art to read our guidelines.
FOR MAY, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to join in. Sign-up is available through MAY 15. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.
The theme for this month is flowers galore! And as always, if the theme is not right for you, feel free to do your own thing.
I will send an email with your partner to you on MAY 17. Please send your Mail Art before MAY 31.
I'd like to encourage everyone to post a comment on the current month's thread when you receive your mail art. And if you can, a picture is nice. We all love seeing the inspiring art! And a quick thanks lets your partner know you received your mail art.
A couple more things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

I hope everyone catches the recent posts by Mary Jo on our March and April pages. She has some beautiful artwork to share, and its always so fun to see what everyone makes!
Just so you all know, I always post when I receive art from you in the mail. Sadly, I've only gotten something two of the four months we've had this year. So if you ever send something to me and don't see a post, please contact me, because I think I must have an art lover in my post office who is stealing your beautiful gifts!! (JK)

oh my, oh my! Look how Nora made my day!
A hand worked cross stitched pillow, embellished flower pot and seeds to plant in it, sunny stickers and floral teas! There have to be over 1000 stitches on this pillow top!
Nora, how many hours did you put into the pillow? It's absolutely beautiful! Thank you SO much for sharing your work with me! I LOVE it!
