Hi, I have so many of these seeds, I was wondering if anyone would like them for postage or would like to swap something for them. they are called black but they look very dark purple to me and they are singles. they are an heirloom type. I bought some to begin with at a Castle in our area that does gardening things and hold weddings and other evens. they every once in a while also have a fiber Festival but this year they are not. Anyway, if any one is interested just let me know..

Hay there,
Those sound unusual. I would like some please. I am working on a cutting garden and always on the look out of heirloom varaities. Thanks for the offer. What do you think postage will come to? Will you take a Money Order?

Oh wowzers.... I am new to Hollyhocks...
I dug up a seedling from a friends garden,,, and the plant survived.. and lookie what it gave me...
It was about 2ft tall when I planted it....
Not sure what this color is called,,, are your 'black' Hollies darker?

Are yours red or purple or black? Mine are a dark purple but they call them black. I'll try and get a picture when they do bloom this year.

Yes Mz Beverley, I did get my seeds. And its ALOT of seeds too. I cant wait to see what they produce. We have had nothing but rain lately so I have not had a chance to plant any of them. I have the perfect site too. But I know that they will wash away if I try with all this rain. Thank you so much for the sweet gift of sharing. Ooooops.....I'm not suppose to say thank you for plants or seeds. That's just an old wives tale tho, right?
