Each month a new block (or more) will be posted and a new thread will begin for each new month. I hope many of you will join in and we will have a lot of new quilts to show off in 12 months or less.

You can join in at any time. We'd love to have you!
NOTE: Please be sure to "Subscribe" to this thread so you don't miss anything.

This month there are 2 blocks. As always, you can do one, two, or none of them. Your choice. These blocks will be yours, so choose your fabrics and quilt away. Make table runners, quilts, wall hangings, or potholders with them - your choice.

NOTE: All patterns come from The Quilter's Cache/Marcia Hohn.
Please read her terms and conditions of use here. http://www.quilterscache.com/TermsPage.html

June blocks:
Hovering Hawks
http://www.quilterscache.com/H/HoveringHawksBlock.html

Indian Mats
http://www.quilterscache.com/I/Indian%20MatsBlock.html

I'd like some more people to select blocks. Please let me know if you would like to choose blocks from The Quilter's Cache/Marcia Hohn (www.quilterscache.com) website for future months, and send me the link(s).

Thank you for joining in.
Happy quilting for all!

I love the choices for June, Linda! Especially after just returning from vaca to the SW!

That's great! They are both pretty easy. I have the Hovering Hawks done - just need to take a picture. Still need to make the other one.

And here are various versions of Hovering Hawks from my small quilting group. I used this block for both groups.

Notice how one quilter used 7 different colors in hers instead of 3.

I love how you can take one block and get so many different looks...just depends on how each person sees them in her mind. Here are my June blocks!

Thank you! I just posted pictures of my April and May blocks. I think I am really going to love this quilt! It feels great to be caught up! I even had time to clean and straighten up my sewing room this afternoon. I've been needing a quiet, relaxing Sunday afternoon for awhile.
