Ok, so I've dealt with blight for years...nasty. But this year I have something new. On the fruits they are developing black spots. Some are also developing white or orange spots. It looks like a fungus but I want to know why. Also, I can have what looks to be a perfectly beautiful tomato on the outside and I'll cut it and it's black on the inside. Any ideas?

It sounds like you tomatoes have anthracnose. A black mold that can infect other vegetable crops too. Make sure you don't overwater and definitely do a crop rotation each year in your vegetable garden. The orange and white spots could be tomato yellow shoulder disorder. A soil test will help you determine if the potassium level is low or the ph ones are too high.

Best of luck, I hope that most of your crop is still good.
