Thank you everyone for being so patient with me waiting for an update. I believe I am mostly okay psychologically from the assault I experienced in March. The school year is ending and I have just a few days worth of work to wrap up.

I am not sure if I should make a list of my UFO, or just start in on the mess! I am way behind, with health set backs over the past three years and salaried jobs that took over my life, I feel like I am just now starting to breath. I have a quilt that I started three years ago still on the frame, several quilt tops cut out to assemble, numerous paint projects underway, so did everyone make a list or just go to it? Is a list of completed items, or pictures preferred? Maybe this will help keep me focused. |

There is only one rule: Whatever works for you. Many are just too embarrassed to publish an entire list. Getting all the UFO's organized and listed is itself a UFO. I see in the last post several projects listed. Start from there. Pictures accompanied with text about intent and process are encouraged. We love to look at finished projects. It gives us hope. I will add you to the list. Good Luck!!!

Beautiful! I am making my list and assembling, I need a start point. That way I can move forward, I think one large project with several quicker projects to carry with me., that way if I do not have much time I can work on a hand project. My first UFO if it counts is organizing my canning shelf and completing my harvest basket. That actually means I can shut the door to that room and be ready to summer harvest with a completed basket. |

Grace, I hear you. My cross stitch projects- there are several are started and not completed. Why I started several I do not know, but I did. I hope your list is dwindling. As for the house , well let’s say that is on a list also. I have been cleaning out closets, dressers,, cupboards, if I was not sure about it- it went to the basement.... oh dear the basement! A lot of items were sent to Salvation Army. Lack of organization in the basement is the biggest issue. Oh well I will keep it on the list... currently carrying felt cardinals that need completed for the family Christmas party.

Every closet, dresser, cupboard and even basement that needs cleaning is also a UFO. Also, any small fixes such as oiling squeaky hinges, cleaning gutters paint touch-ups are all UFOs. The policy is anything that a person has been putting off until the magical time when we have time is considered a UFO.

Oh Maria and Grace thank you for that insight! I feel a little better, I thought it was just my crafting UFO, I have so many areas that I am plugging away at. Next on my list is my front porch and side porch- declutter- scrub and make new cushion covers, also finished my little rocking chair- it needed a seat since last year. |

I added curtains last year to my porch so I can drop one drape if the sun is to hot, or close them up if it is cooling off, I place an electric fireplace under my gardening table for a little heat so I can enjoy my porch longer. I used drop clothes, cheap and durable! |

Painters Drop Cloths are awesome! I can't remember where I saw it, but a gal stenciled a piece of drop cloth and then made seat cushions with the stenciled cloth.. but alas, I need to rein myself in or that idea will become yet another UFO for me! Lol!

Can you possibly post pictures, Danyel? I'm curious about the drop cloth curtains. Several years ago I put up the plastic tubular blinds on both ends of my porch. 3 days after I put them up, and even when though they were tied well up above the side porch openings, a sudden stiff breeze came up and blew both of them into pieces and into the neighbors pasture. I haven't put anything else up since. do you use grommets and hooks to mount them?

Looks like the group is slowing down. Either everyone has finished or summer is keeping everyone busy. But 61 finished projects is an awesome number.

I used 1/2 inch conduit, and a c clamp to hang up my curtains, I made a pocket at the top. Plus tie backs to hold my curtains back. You could place a curtain pocket at the bottom if need be. Hope that helps, Linda. My curtains are still holding up. #128522;

Hello Everyone! So sorry to not have posted in a long time. We sold our home, searched for a new place and have finally moved. . . although settling in is taking longer due to all the renovations they are doing for us here.
Since we were moving, I found new homes for many of my UFO's. That being said, I "unearthed" several more!! UGH!! LOL!! I am back at it and will keep you posted on my progress.
