Welcome Brenda and Linda. I know about huge UFO lists. My least available resource is time. I would love the days when meetings were all about sitting there and listening (or at least pretending to) where I could work on a small project. Lately, they seem to want a person to move around the room and discuss stuff with people. I guess I'm just an old fuddy duddy used to the old ways and grumble about the young'uns.

I have UFOs from 20 years ago. I was part of a guild and there was a group project where you brought a bunch of yarn in a bag, and every month your bag got passed to a new member. At the end of the year you received 12 pieces at least 5x7 and you were supposed to put them toggether into a work of art. Mine are still in the bag.

Brenda, part of finishing your UFOs is deciding If they are something that you still like or still hold meaning for you...if they are worth your time to finish or you'd rather pass them along to someone else. It's ok to let some things go !

Brenda - that will make a nice scrappy afghan with some crocheted strips to sew them together.

Debbie, You sound like Marie Kondo! If I ask myself "Does this spark joy?" I have to say that it truthfully reminds me of the person who made it for me!

I started January off by going through my remaining UFOs. Some I've had for a long time but I still love them and want to finish them. There's been a couple that I've thought....WHAT was I thinking???? I had a quilt cut out and partially put together but I just didn't care for the fabric anymore. I bagged all of that up along with the pattern and sent it on. I know that someone will love it and want to finish it. And I have a project left for someday...quilt blocks from my grandma that are hand pieced...whenever I look at them, I think of her! But I've learned to let some things go and focus on what I truly love.

I finished my first UFO this morning! The name sign for my sons room lost a couple of letters and they needed to be glued back on. Super easy and simple but I never got around to it. So I pulled out my hot glue gun and glued them on! One UFO checked off my list!

I am so excited to see so many joining in on the fun of getting our UFO's done!!

Krista, so happy to see you got that one done!! WaHOOO!!

Debbie, I so understand where you are coming from. I too, just let go of several things that I know someone else is simply going to jump for joy at having.

I'm not sure if non-crafty UFOs count, but I wanted to celebrate my accomplishments with you ladies. Many of you know I homeschool... but I haven't finished writing out my lesson plans/curriculum for THIS year!!!! Last night I finished writing the plans for studying Poland and this morning I finished the rest of the year for History! Feeling truly accomplished as I can mark both of those off my list!!!

Thank you! The sad thing is I still have multiple more countries to plan :( Not to mention Little House books. I wish I could convince myself to use already figured out and planned curriculum rather than writing my own.... but with the kids' diverse ages and interests, it is easier to write my own! Other than being time consuming ;)

I have finished another UFO AND I got it listed for sale too! Now that was truly an accomplishment for me. I started this last year at this time, set it aside for "something" and forgot about it. UGH.
Happy to report, it's off my list officially today!

I finished up a project which was supposed to be done for Christmas. I cross stitched this about a year ago and then found this hoop for a frame. I finally got it painted. Now to put it away for next Christmas.

Congratulations Shannon on getting some curriculum written! It truly is a lot of work.
Joanna your quilt is beautiful! I hope you can have a fast sale.
Jill, your snowflake is pretty. I bet you will enjoy having it for the coming Christmas season.
Debbie, your hotpads are so cute! I love the design on them.
