I was ironing my Vintage Doilies and Runners this afternoon and thought that an Spring Doily or Linen Swap would be fun.
I have been collecting and making Vintage Doilies and Runners since I was a young wife over 40 years.
To me there is no such thing as too many with so many styles Colors to make and collect. And I use mine all over the house. But unfortunately I do not make them anymore as I can not see that well to see the tiny stitches.
So we will swap one Doily or Runner your choice, that has Spring Colors, you can make one, buy or gift one of yours, if you are like me I have so many I could gift. Tucks are fine .
Sign ups will run through the 10th of March, I will post partners on the 11 th, Mail by the 20th of March. I think that is enough time.
When you sign up post rather you would like a Doily or Runner or just be surprised.

Please add me. After the grand daughters asked for mine...probably eight years ago...I was a tiny bit sad, and yet happy that they also treasure vintage things. But surprise, surprise, like you Deb i found more scattered around my house (they just thought they took them all!) I have bought two more at an antique store. Now I have an excuse to look again. Such fun.

Please add me! I have a doily to gift from a lot of vintage doilies I purchased!! Not made by me though as I don't crochet! I would like a doily!
I have a large doily that I treasure that was made for me by my Grandmother (keeping this one)!
This swap looks fun to me! Doilies remind me of simpler carefree days!

I am going through my doilies looking for just the right one to send to my partner. Looking for a nice Spring Color.
Wish I could still crochet these beauties with the thin yarn.
I wonder does anyone have a knitted doily pattern using a bit thicker yarn? All my patterns are for crochet.
I could also check online but if someone has a pattern I would love to have it.
