If anyone is interested in a Tea Party Swap, I'm willing to host one. It's been a while since one has been posted. I certainly don't want to intrude if someone else has plans for one.

It took a while to figure partners, but I think I found a solution to an uneven number. Here goes...

Brenda will send to Nancy/Tumbleweed
Nancy/Tumbleweed will send to Sherry
Sherry/sweettea59 will send to Brenda/Lavender Rose

The rest of you will swap with each other

Deb/OneRedZinnia and Jami/HunnysHen
Christy/christy925 and Hannah/GinnyBelle
Joyce/GinghamGirl and Diana/Bluedog355
Beth and Kristi/Kristina72
Maryellen/mbenton16 and Lenora/firecatinc
Jutta/jmcraftygal and Jill/jillyd

Hope this works for everyone. Email your assigned Swapper with your information and be sure to let your partner know of any food restrictions.

Let the fun begin!! Pictures if possible, please.

Here are my thoughts for requirements.

A tea cup and saucer or mug. Which ever you prefer. Please let your partner know which one you would like to receive.

At least two different kinds of tea. Entire box not necessarily required. Just be sure each bag is individually wrapped.

Some treats such as cookies, biscuits, small jar of jam, chocolate, or any other treat to be enjoyed by your partner. Be sure and let your partner know if you have any food allergies or restrictions.

Tea Pot if you want, but not required. Postage could get kind of expensive.

Any thing else you would like to include for your partner to have a nice relaxing tea party. Possibilities could be a pretty napkin, vase for flowers, tea bag holder, etc.

Just make it nice and have fun. It's always a treat to see what everyone received. Please post pictures if possible.

Sign-up until March 28th. Partners posted March 29th.
Mail out by April 6th. Hopefully, Easter won't be a problem for this Swap. If it is, I will do it later in the Spring.

Brenda

Also, it will cost more to send out of the country. If the extra cost would be difficult for anyone, please email me. I will assign partners accordingly. Thanks.

Btw, the picture I posted is of a Tea Shop my daughter and I had tea and tarts in in England. We especially picked there because my Mom's name was Betty.

I wonder if Vintage Tea Cup and saucer would be an ok thing to send our partner? I have quite a few I've picked up over the years at Estate Sales. My husband and I used to have tea in the evenings using a different cup each day. I need to lighten my stash. I suppose I can ask my partner when we are assigned. Just a thought

I`d be interested if Vintage is okay. Any ideas on how to package so they arrive safely would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Christy, Jutta, and Diana. You are all on the list.

Absolutely Christy, vintage would be great! I just purchased a vintage cup and saucer for this Swap. Having tea with your husband, how special. You must have a beautiful collection. It's kind of you to share.

I've sent cups and saucers by wrapping each separately and putting them in smaller boxes inside a larger box with the tea bags and other items. Bubble wrap, packing peanuts and tissue, all work well.

Make sure the box is large enough to keep padding between your items and the outside of the box. Only once have I received a package and had a porcelain tray broken. It was placed in the bottom of the box without anything to protect it. In shipping other packages must have put pressure on the bottom of the box and caused the dish to break.

My son use to work for UPS. Quite often they weren't careful with packages. To some of the workers, Fragile met let's throw this one to see if it breaks. I don't put fragile on my packages anymore. No sense making my package a target.

Hope my suggestions help with packaging.

Please email to let me know if you prefer not to send to a partner that lives out of the country. Postage does cost more for international mail.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I love drinking tea and almost always have some close by. You could pair Joyce and I and then no international shipping, if that's alright with Joyce. I would prefer a mug and any kind of tea is great!

Jill, I don’t mind at all, it’s always a delight swapping with you. However strange as it sounds, it is cheaper for me to ship to Eastern USA than to BC!

Hello Jutta!! My husband and I are from BC, he’s from Kelowna and I am from Chilliwack. We almost moved to Armstrong, but ended up moving to PEI instead. Nice to meet another Canadian on here!
