I was never good at sewing. I had tried so many times and gave up. But what I learned about myself is that I love making photo albums from scratch. My family really loves when I make them for special occasions. What types of crafting do you all do?

Joan,, what a lovely thing to do..
I am somewhat albumn/card challenged,, and I have even bought tons of books and a cricut machine to help me, but alas,, I-R-challenged...

Joan, that is an amazing talent. I was gifted a handmade photo album for my first born and its stunning. There is no way I could make one myself. I bet people really enjoy seeing your talent.

Hi Joan and everyone else.
I love to make jewelry. I make earings, bracelets and necklaces. I took a class at a bead store. The basic techniques are rather simple and take no time at all to master.

I enjoy counted cross stitch, quilting, and junk crafting. I've learned not to say "I'll never do that" because sure enough it is my next favorite thing.

I enjoy stitching; embroidery and cross stitch and quilting.
Joan made me a beautiful album for my granddaughter's photos. It is titled "Sisters". Now we are having a grandson being added to their family!

I love to crochet, knit, sew and fold and glue little pieces of paper. Some of the farmgirls have gotten my little paper stars.

I am an art photographer by heart but I do so love working with papers and have made note cards out of my photography for ages. But occasionally I love crafting owls out of recyclable items of all kinds!

Joan, I am at beginner level on various craft skills like knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery etc. I like simple things to make so I can finish them and not get frustrated. It seems to work for me and keep crafting fun, which is often the whole point for me.

Winnie, that's wonderful the different skills you have. I'm so bad at knitting etc. that's why I stick with paper crafts :)

I have been trying my hand at new things. I learned to crochet this year! I loom knit and enjoy that during the winter. I also love to scrapbook and make cards. I do sew and am now learning to smock. I have a granddaughter due in October and I want to make some frilly smocked dresses for her. I also plan to smock an insert for a JonJon for my grandson. Other pastimes I enjoy is Genealogy and cooking.
