A friend gave me a lily pad begonia and it is beautiful. Does anyone know how to start a new one from it? Seeds don't seem to work and I am afraid to divide it. My friend who gave it to me said it is rare but I don't think so---Don't they grow huge in Florida?

Hello,
I do not know about your particular begonia but up here when I would dig them up and put them in a paper bag for the winter, in the spring the babies just came off the mama.
