Hard to believe we re already in July! With the oppressive heat and wildfires affecting so many, I thought a Christmas in July swap might help us think of cooler times :) Besides... I just LOVE Christmas! If you are interested in joining, post below, including how you normally decorate and a few things you collect or enjoy receiving. Merry Christmas in July everyone <3

Sounds like fun! My decorating can be hit or miss. One year I put up 5 trees and last year I didn't put one up at all. I did buy a new tree for this year as mine was very old and starting to fall apart. I have approximately 10 bins of Christmas decorations. I collect all things Christmas: snowmen, nutcrackers, santas, etc. If I do multiple tree each one has either a color theme or a topic theme.

Can't wait for this swap!

I'll sign up first :)

We normally decorate with snowmen, nutcrackers, and gingerbread men :) We do not decorate with Santa. I collect Willow Tree figurines and love homemade items!

Shannon,

I love, love Christmas! I decorate with snowmen, vintage ornaments, actually lots of vintage things. The knee hugger pixies are also one of my favorites when I can find them. We don't do Santa. I also love to use things that can stay up all winter, then we only put the tree away and leave everything else out.
Count me in please.

Sounds like fun. Sign me up please. Some years we put up a ridiculous amount of decorations, but for the past couple of years not as much. I love snowmen, ornaments, especially handmade and vintage ones, gingerbread men and women, holly, poinsettias, greens, berries, snowflakes and ribbons. We still use ornaments that were made with the kids from years ago. Don't use Santa though. We also have a Christmas village.

I put up a vintage silver tree with only ornaments from Mary Jane Swaps. It's only 4 feet tall. Should be larger, but I manage to get all of the ornaments and Christmas tags on it though.

I haven't participated in any swaps in a while and this one sounds fun. I love Christmas! I put up 3 trees every year: my main tree, a tree for the kids, and a tree with origami ornaments in my dining room. I like nutcrackers, gingerbread men, snowflakes, vintage Christmas, and anything sparkly. I don't mind Santa, and I do not like snowmen.

Shannon, please add my name. We put up one real tree, the weekend after Thanksgiving. I also have a couple of two foot tall skinny trees. I have a sweet Angel collection for one, the other is usually in the kitchen. I have a collection of hand painted old world Santas. I also have a Christmas Village which my husband loves. It has not been out in several years, due to my work schedule and my broken leg last year. Hopefully the grand kids will help me put it out for him this year. I love red and white! I also like snow men. I DO NOT like icecicles. I have an unopened package in one of the Christmas tubs to remind me not to ever do that again!

Those old timey ones were foil, or at least that is what they seemed like to me. Now I suppose they are mylar...they reach and grab my clothing, the cat and even the dog. Something with static electricity I guess. My husband loves them, but he only waters the tree once, then every morning I give it more water and come away covered in shiny strings.

Add me please! I love fall and Christmas. I love to decorate a tree in every room of the house, but the last three years I am lucky to get one completed due to my work schedule. I decorate with old ornaments, felt ornaments made by hand. Country decoration with pine and pine cones, nutcrackers and gingerbread. I think I have way to many snowmen as I cannot even set half of them out each year, so hard to choose the ones that will be left in the box. So excited to hear how every one decorates. Maybe pictures this winter?

Thank you for hosting.

You brought a much needed smile to me today. Your crafting the necklace and ornaments are lovely. I really like them! The cocoa looks great and the recipe is so special. Love the stickers, they will come in so handy when the season arrives. The towel is beautiful and will look so pretty all hung soon enough. I can't wait to sit down and read the book, might need to wait a little closer then make a cup of cocoa to snuggle up with and relax. Thank you for such a special box with all the heart you put into it.

Kristi, I received your delightful package up this morning. Thank you sooooooo much! I promise I will get photos...just not sure when. Hopefully yours will be mailed Monday. With funerals, birthdays, now my husband is sick again and my son had a gallbladder attack last night. So today was spent trying to help with his farm chores, checking on him, etc. But I have most of my things gathered and maybe Monday will be a wonderful day to go to the post office. Keep your fingers crossed!!
