Happy September 1st everyone and welcome to our Annual Apple Festival here at MJF!! To start off the fun, I am hosting an apple themed swap and I hope you will join in. This year, I am going to just leave the entire idea open to whatever you think would be fun. I know I am going to include a favorite apple recipe in mine because the apple is one of the most versatile fruits.
Please keep swap to just a few items so that everybody will feel like they can join in.
Sign-ups will be through September 9. Partners will be posted on September 10 and please try to have your mail out ready by September 18 so that your swap buddy will have time in September to enjoy whatever you send.
Let's get our ideas flowing and join in to some good old fashioned Festival fun!!

I am the extra person, but last week Rebecca(beccalou) and I had our monthly lunch visit and we exchanged a little apple swap. Plus in July, quiltee gifted me an box full of apple goodness as a RAOK. So , I have been having apple fun ahead of all of you and it is fine for me to sit this one out.

I wanted to share what Farmgirls Denise and Connie surprised me with by sending a hostess gift.

Denise sent two beautiful apple themed dishtowels and a cute apple , Friends, hanging!!
Connie made the sweetest apple fabric bunting!!
I just love all of my apple goodies and I am already enjoying using them in my home!!

Well, the USPS left me another Farmgirl Mail surprise today!! Thank-you Heather for so many wonderful goodies!!! Heather gifted me a beautiful table runner that had belonged to her Grandmother and then added lots of fun cow things like a key ring, adorable eraser, Dark chocolate milk flavored lip balm, several milk recipes and some fun apple shaped post-it notes. I am going to enjoy using all of these lovely things!!
The table runner is folded in half but you can see the design. So cute!
Heather, thank-you very much for your kindness!
I have been spoiled rotten this week with apple goodness just appearing in my mailbox! What fun and such a surprise!!
