Had a gorgeous autumn day at the Chicago Botanic Gardens annual Fine Fiber Arts Festival. It was hard to choose, but here are a few of my favorites from today. The talent these artists have is just outstanding!

Sorry Grace, I'm not sure what kind fo sheep the first one is. Dianna, my husband really liked the bottom right trees. He said somebody should do a "Lord of the Rings" quilt. I had the same thought too when I saw this quilt.

It was tough picking which ones to put on here. There were about 100 quilts plus other types of fiber works. This annual show is incredible, I strong recommend anyone within a 50 mile distance to go see it. They have it at the Chicago Botanical Garden in Glencoe every first weekend in November.

Thank you for sharing, Dawn! I love the sheep and trees best too! Next would be the Baltimore style. Its difficult to pick when you see it here. Your husband is correct!

What wonderful, talented artists! They are all gorgeous! I like the tree pics best. What a great, sensory-overload day you must have had. Thank you so much for sharing.

It is always a terrific show. The artists used many other mediums, but these were my favorites. Amazing how talented these ladies are and the incredible works of art that they create!
