I’m so glad to finally be home .. For the last 6 weeks I’ve been on the road for various grand kiddo tournaments, followed by a visit to friends and family in Indiana. . Home a week then on our was to,Sourth Carolina. Just got home yesterday.. (After driving thru moderate to heavy rain across Louisiana)

I can’t wait to go to the Post Office to collect those wonderful cards!!! ( The Bills - not so much!)

Hello sisters...this is my card collection this far! Aren't they pretty!
They are from Darlene R., Winnie N., Julie H., Ruthie K., Linda B., Debbie K., Mary D., Kristi D. , Denise T.,and Marlene B., and Connie Warren.
Now I realize that some of these are SPG sisters and some are Portia's card swap sisters...but some are in both groups!
Thank you one and all!

Thanks Marlene, Marilyn and Ruthie Ann for your Pretty cards! They are my decorations, this year with my hubby in the hospital for 2 weeks and still very weak at home, I didn't pull out all my decorations. This the first year in 31 years we didn't get out lights put up on our house, We would always do it on a warm day in November and run all the cords and then plug them in December 1st, Dark out here in the country so I always loved the lights at Christmas.

Connie, I'm sorry you did not get your outside lights up. This year is my first year in...probably ten years to put lights up outside.
We are enjoying them. The kids have both made positive comments. But most of all...They love the tiny houses all lit up. They remember playing with the little people but we're alarmed that so many were broken off their tiny bases. I provided glue and Soon they were back together.

Hope your husband feels better soon Connie, no fun recuperating and especially this time
of year.

Thanks Nora for your angel and stars card and to Rebecca, loved the cozy cabin winter
scene on your card.

Today's Mail brought such joy! A photo card from my cousin, actually she is or was my mother's first cousin, but only a year older than me. She had an explanation of the people, and where her grandchildren are now. Most photo cards have only photos, so I thought that was special. There was a sweet deer card from Dianna, another pretty from Sherry, a card and bracelet from Nora and a card from Linda Terry. Some are hen house sisters.Thank you so much. You made a grey day brighten up! Nora, since I am a child at heart...your card touched my heart. I have always said that teaching young children almost my entire life, means I believe in Jesus, Santa, the Easter Bunny, tooth fairy...well you get the picture! Anyway anticipation...That is it! And I don't like it when someone steals the joy and anticipation from a little child. Merry Christmas!

Thank you ladies for the most beautiful cards! One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the cards. Mine are on the way, the post office assured me they would be there before Christmas, which actually made me quite nervous. Blessings, Maryellen

Today, my buddy Shadow and I rode down to the mail box, with the Windows down...so he could sniff the air. There we found Julie's new address card. Wow what a nice farm and what pretty blue water! Thank you!

Has anyone besides Marilyn received my cards? I've only received 5 but do realize the season is busy and some may arrive in the next few days. I mailed a package to a friend with tracking
and it is sitting now at a post office nowhere near its destination. Maybe they will straighten
it out before Christmas. "It's the most busiest time of the year" so guess I'll have to be patient.

Thank you Mary for letting me know yours arrived. I missed the card swap and fun to be
back in it again.

Marilyn, I received your beautiful and creative card yesterday. Love how you attached the
pretty tag to the tea bag. So colorful with all the little tree ornaments too. Can't wait to try
the tea...I love anything "Trader Joe's".

Thought I posted this but don't see it. On the swap list my address was listed as Sarah Road but it is Sarah Drive which is what I sent in the correctio email. It really should not have been a problem as Denver North Carolina is a small town. I do realize that it is a very busy time of year and there are lots of extra hands helping. I have been blessed to receive so many beautiful cards. Hopefully mine will be there today! Hugs, Maryellen
