Kitchen window over the sink. The little Angels were Richard's Grandmas, so they have seen a lot of Christmas's over the years. Wish they could talk and tell us about it.
Snow here today. Making pork chops for dinner. Get to use my cast Iron pan for this job, and a little milk gravy for the mashed potatoes. I really should make a dessert, but I think the gravy will do us in. There is always candy in the dish if needed. Its afternoon now so off to do some reading.

Nancy Jo it really is the "little" things that are the 'BIG' things in life.

I have two white birds with blue eyes and an alabaster egg that belonged to my husband's Mom
and I keep them out year round. They not only keep her ever on my mind (she died 17 yrs ago)
and they are just so sweet and charming! I couldn't get rid of them if I had to. They are just
precious to me.

Dinner sounds good. I haven't had a Pork Chop in ages...now you went and made me hungry. LOL
Might need to go buy some Chops and make some milk gravy too.

Have a Lovely rest of your day!!!

Hugs and Warm Memories,
Peggy

Peggy,
Yes those little things are very important. I wish you could show a picture I would love to see them. Never write off the ones that are gone because without them we wouldn't be here. So a few things that were passed down are worth keeping.
Yea, not to often that I make a pork chop dinner with milk gravy, but with winter taking over it came to mind.

I too am so thankful for the little things. Love seeing lizards overwinter in my greenhouses each morning. I love the angels you have Nancy. Here's one I bought for a dollar a couple of days back.

Sweet angels NancyJo. I love the crock/bowl that your plant is in. I have saved many of the little Christmas things that my mom and dad had. I love them. They remind me of my childhood Christmases.

Yes, Nancy Jo, it IS the little things that matter! Especially, if they've been passed down from family, nothing more special in my book.
