I mailed mine tonight but I'm afraid I was 15 minutes late...although the trucks were backed up to the dock. Anyway they are safe inside the post office, waiting for a ride tomorrow.

Thanks Connie. No Marilyn, it's not my house it's actually from a picture I took several years
back at "Winterfest" at the Seattle Center. It's actually a miniature village that has model
trains running through it. Our kids loved going there every year when they were small to
see that display and to participate in the "Winterfest" activities.
Thanks Joan, it would be fun to live in a house like that.

I kinda wondered if it was a train layout because of the background...But I thought perhaps you lived in an adorable, old fashioned house. It is a cute photo!

Joan, I'm glad you got my card. As we opened Christmas gifts I was going 'gaga' over the tags and papers. There was one tag with a little snowman. So I kinda sorta copied that idea. Crayons don't color well on slick gift boxes, but I don't own pretty pastel markers at the moment.
Anyway they were fun . And yes I think we could make a whole snow family of we were neighbors! In New York your snow people probably last a while...not in Texas!

Joan, I guess you are having snow now or it is on its way??? We have this horrid North wind. Brrrrrr it is so cold inside as well as outside. Our old farm house is not on a slab. Even though the wind can't go under the house...It is still cold. Now we do have sunshine! Winter sunshine makes me happy.

are so right that no matter what the weather it still can be so cold.

Yes, Joan, I received your amazing and darling sweet owls card today. Love the detail in
it including the paper piercing. Very cute card.
Nora, I also received your pretty snowflake card. The purple looked so nice with the white
snowflake on it.
Rebecca, love your pretty red and black bird photo card. It looked so attractive against
the snow and red berries which matched the red on its head. Also liked your ideas for the
New Year.
