Yes, yes! I have never been so ready for Spring. We hardly ever have snow here in March but tonight it is snowing. It feels like it has been such a long winter. I don't know but maybe getting older makes it seem like the winter drags on. I want sunshine and warmth.
I am so ready for spring flowers and green grass again. Even if we have to mow it! I have been spending most of this evening on Pinterest getting some ideas for new spring/easter decor.

what a cute bunny, did you make it Grace? Oh yes bring on spring. Though we are supposed to get 6-10 inches today and tomorrow of wet heavy snow. We are still fighting through the 2-3 feet we got on the ground.

Denise and Michele, I hear ya... so tired of the snow!

Sara, if it weren't a 3 day drive, I would be over at hour house today tor some warm weather and sunshine!

As for the yoyo bunny, nope, I didn't make this one... but I am thinking it might be a fun project for my grand kiddos and I to do tomorrow.

YES! YES!!YES!!! Spring can't come soon enough for me. Another 8 to 10 inches of snow predicted for the weekend. Winds blowing at 20 mph. They haven't classified it as a blizzard because the winds aren't strong enough, but I sure wouldn't want to be on the roads. I am tired of shoveling, tired of getting stuck and having to battle snow drifts to do chores. I Just want sunshine. The sun was shining earlier this week and it was 15 above so I sat on the steps with a cup f tea and just soaked in the rays.

That sure is a cute bunny Grace. I have been working on some bunnies for the Grands Easter goodies. Will post pictures when they are done.

Sara I sure wish I had your temps and sunshine. I bought a bouquet of iris' yesterday and told my husband it was probably the only ones I was going to see this year. I

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Grace...I love your little Bunny too!! It is really cold here but Sunny and Dry for today and tomorrow!! Last night my hubby, my girlfriend Patti, and I went to a Gospel
Concert in the Clackamas area of Portland and once we hit the 500 ft Hills around there we hit Snow like I haven't seen this year. It was really pretty but I was glad to get
back home where it was cold but dry!! I told somebody yesterday...that I just want Warm Sunny Days...so let's skip Spring and jump right into Summer! I'm so ready!! At least
I haven't had to endure the snow and cold like most of you girls have had to do...just plenty of rain and cold. Snow doesn't affect my Fibro like rain does, however.
Well, you all know once we get 80-90 degree weather we will be complaining about that too. We are rarely content. LOL God must look down on us and shake his head at his silly
children!!

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Ok,,, so I tweaked the YoYo Bunny so my grand kiddos can make these...

I stitched the eyes & whiskers... but I am thinking for the kiddos I will give them fabric paint to make the eyes and whiskers.
Or bits of yarn for the whiskers and 1/2 beads for the eyes.

I ran embroidery thread through the yoyos... but again, I might have the kiddos glue their yoyos together and then glue on the face and pompom tail.

This will be a fun project for the kiddos,,, and me.

Some plans are meant to be broken,,, today the grand kiddos were coming over for lunch and craft day... but,, my sweet 9 year old Jada, had been having tummy pains since yesterday,, but today, the pains got really bad so my daughter took Jada to the Ergent Care facility... and from there over to the Emergency Room at the Hospital,,, turns out Jada is having appendix pain.. they were going to do surgery first thing tomorrow morn,, but now have decided to do the surgery tonight...
So I have my other 2 grand kiddos for the night...
SO if I am not on the 'Farm' chatting,,, that is why...
I know everything will go fine...

Grace, So glad they found the problem with Jada and can get it taken care of.

Bunny is so cute! Getting my Spring decor done little by little.

Julie, I don't know how you do it with all that snow. Keep warm and hang in there Spring's coming.

Grace, I second that! I am definitely ready for spring and some nice beautiful weather! Your bunnies are super cute. I hope you and the grandkids get a chance to make them. And once you do, please share! I would love to see how they turn out! How is Jada doing? I'm hoping for a speedy recovery and no more pain.

'sew'''. this morning,.. early morning... my grand daughter #2 walks into the kitchen, I am sucking down a cup of coffee,, while scrambling up eggs... she says,,, 'Oma, can we sew some Yoyos???
Seriously???
So after breakfast dishes were done, I pulled out some pre-cut fabric circles, sewing needles, thread & scissors and we get to stitching,,,
She was able to stitch up 5 yoyos before it was time to call it quits and get ready for school...
She is 'sew' excited to make a yoyo bunny.

Grace, that is the cutest bunny! What a clever idea and one that has so many options for colors with scrap fabric. I bet your Grands will have a lot of fun making some this year too.

Hi Joan,,, no, I am a crafter, not a seller...lol!
I have in the years past crafted and sold at craft fairs.. but found I hate parting with the things I make... lol!

to make these, I stitch up 4 large yoyos, 2 med ones and 2 small ones,
put in order as small, med, lrg,lrg,lrg,lrg,med,sm.. then I used embroirdery floss to secure them together. (and a dab of glue to give extra security.
then cut out the head/ears , stitched on the eyes, whiskers, nose and glued the whole face to one side of the yoyo and a pompom to the other/backside.... 'sew' easy peasy to make.
