I remember making mudpies with rosehips at that age and then letting them dry on the porch rail in the sun.
Then I would dish them up and serve them to family. One day my brother thought he would freak me out by actually
taking a bite and eating it. He thought it would gross me...but I just thought he was an idiot!! LOL

Yes, Lily June is a Farmgirl already. She has a good teacher in her granny!

That is so adorable! We haven't had any mud puddles yet this year to jump in, just little water puddles. I bet my kids would really enjoy it! I would have lots of fun too.

Connie, they grow up so fast. Lily June is such a lovely little girl

Put your hair up in a bun, drink some coffee and handle it.

Such a lovely picture. There is nothing as fun as mud puddles. We live a half mile off the road so there are times I run in the mud with bare feet. No one can see me and it feels soooo good. It is precious to see little ones enjoying the outdoors.

OH MY GOSH!!! She's stinking cute and I love her boots and creativity to make her own mud puddle!! I used to take my boys out in their boots after our summer thunder storms and jump in puddles!! They loved it!! We live on the high desert, so we don't get many mud puddles per se, but we certainly take advantage of any puddles we can get!!
