They look delicious Michele. I just love fresh strawberries. Looks like a good crop. Do you make jam or freeze whole strawberries?

I froze most of this picking, and we ate a few. Got another picking ready to be hulled and put in the freezer this morning.

Is your rhubarb ready yet? Your strawberries look so delicious, I wish we lived closer together so I could help you pick and maybe eat a few as well!

Those berries look beautiful! Enjoy your season and all of the preserves you make for those long cold months in Winter!

Your strawberries look so delicious! I was gifted a strawberry plant for Mothers Day and it has already produced one beautiful strawberry. My kids and I split it so we could all taste the first strawberry. Now we have two more almost ready to be picked! Enjoy all your yummy strawberries!

Oh yummy!
one of my DH fav desserts is so simple...
1. Store bought plain Angel food cake
2. Package of strawberry jello...
3. Strawberries
4. Sugar.
5. Whip cream

Make the Jello ahead if time.
wash, slice, and sprinkle a spoon full or 2 of sugar over the strawberries and gently mix.
Then when ready to serve., put a slice of Angel food cake on the plate, some cubed up jello, topped with strawberries and whip cream. Then be sure to invite my DH over tor dessert! Lol!

Michelle I have really considered it! We had one at our old house and I would love to have one again. Just to find the perfect place.

Very late this year. Normally, the 4th of July is the end of picking season--this year it is just now beginning in my neck of the woods. Not as nice as two years ago, but we managed to curb our enthusiasm and pick enough for at least 24 1/2 pints. Just finished 2 big batches--thinking I'll wait till it cools down some--Man, oh man, can my little kitchen get warm during canning season!
