I know I said I would curtail my addiction for aprons,, but, alas... I couldn't leave with out this one.. found it at the Thrift, on sale, $1.50
it is most likely from the late 1960's or possible very early 1970's.. I hand washed it then ironed it... and now it is hanging up..
I found and painted an old pole plant stand and hang vtg. hats and aprons from it,, so I can switch them out through out the year. ok,,, I will have to curb my Junktiquing for awhile... heeheehee..

I love aprons, too, Grace. Especially ones at that price.

For $1.50, I would say there is really no argument NOT to have the cutie!! Your hat and apron pole is a good idea and I bet it would hold a few more aprons here and there too!!

Love the apron - So darling!! I too, have a collection of aprons - my favorites are displayed on the apron holder my father made me inspired by the one of MJF's magazine a year or two ago that had the rolling pins as the hooks!! I love to wear an apron when I'm cooking or baking and each time I have it on, more times than not, someone knocks on my front door to find me in my apron - I guess it may be so old fashioned these days, but remains comfort to my heart and soul! And, more times than not, I receive a compliment on how cute my apron is!! So, how can a girl go wrong!?

What a find. Hard to believe it was only $1.50!! It does look like late 60's early 70's judging from the colors. I find aprons to be homey. They remind me of days gone by.
