I am in a holding pattern... I need to go into town and get the backing fabric for my strip quilt and some accent fabric for the pillow cases I will be making...

Lucky for Kiki...

Funny how they always want to lay where we are working. Daddy was trying to lay a sidewalk in the back yard.

Maybe Kiki wants to go with you.
Don’t you love how our fur babies want to be as close as they to us. I love it!
Cute photos, thank you for sharing,

Love the pictures. I just had to laugh because our furbabies do the same thing. They just love to be wherever we are. Just adorable.

I am inclined to think that our fur babies text/e-mail each other on how to confiscate the best seat in the house even if it's the one we want to sit in! lol!

Grace -- Your Kiki looks just like my Pele except for the white paw. I love my little brown kitty girl. And all the others, too...

Your sweet Kiki has it made! It looks like a very comfy spot to rest for a bit. I bet she secretly loves when you have fabric laying around lol!

Ladies---when you have six dogs and six cats---this being close to you can get tedious---even though I love them all. Right now a cat is scratching my shoulder and wanting petted, two small dogs have kicked the sofa pillows off and are snoring loudly---four more dogs are lined up on the steps and I will have to yell at them to get off so that I can get down---as I have to do all day long because if I am up here that is where they stay. I will have to move three cats to make the bed. Cats jump on me while I am watching TV and make me spill my water all over me. They sit on the kitchen table and watch me work and have to be yelled at to get off so that I can clean it off and we can eat. One cat sometimes follows me on my dog walk. Four dogs go with us to get wood on our UTV and they fuss and fight and stop in front of it to pee and we almost hit them---you should hear my husband fussing and swearing they will never come along again. We have a large audience when we garden. When we go to our little cabin all six dogs have to come upstairs to sleep---always at least four climb in the bed on top of us. This closeness can get tedious for sure. But---oh how we do love them and they bring us much joy. I am never lonely.

I've enjoyed reading all the cute pet stories and seeing the pictures. My Annie doesn't get in my rocker during the day unless I am in it and she wants some extra loving - all 50+ lbs. At night it's a different story. She sleeps part of the night with me. The other part of the night she sleeps in my rocker. She has been doing that for over 3 years since I brought her home from the animal shelter at 3 months old.

Barbara -- we are a multi-cat household, too. The other night I was sitting my recliner with four cats on and around me. My husband looked at me and said "It looks like winter is coming."
