I love this rolling pin and everytime I use it I thank Grandma Emma. Give it a pat before I put it away. My Great Grandpa made it for her, it has the date on the end, 1889. They lived in the same farmhouse that I was brought up in.
That pretty pitcher is not old, but I saw it at the thrift store and was pretty sure I had to have it.
Very windy and lots of rain last night and this morning. Lots tree branches down and of course leaves all over the place. That will keep Richard busy today.
Hope this finds you all well.

Nancy,
That is awesome that you have her rolling pin. Just think of the goodness it was used to make over all those years! Such a treasure.
Love those great wooden bowls too

Oh so beautiful, that rolling pin has soul! Annie

Beautiful rolling pin! I would think of how many times it had been used by Grandma and that it was made with love and care for her in 1889 ~ 130 years ago! The pitcher, bowls and utensils are charming, too.

Keep shining!
