I must have had a big get rid of things frenzie at one time because I used to have a lot of these pretty little things. Anyway, not to late to start again. That book has lots of info and lots of pretty pictures. I think the author Ellyn Geisel was on this site at one time.
I was getting together all this sort of thing this morning. All my calendar towels, and old tablecloths and napkins, aprons potholders etc. Then put them in my cupboard near my craft area. That way I can see them.
Looking like snow here over the next few days, so I will be right here.

I have that book also. It has a lot of great pictures and information in it.

I also have a collection of crocheted potholders - they are used as decoration around my kitchen. I love them and have several unusual ones.

Love that book! Great photos. Nancy, I have some calendar towels you sent me. I use them rarely. Just because I don't want anyone to stain them.

I have a few of those old crocheted doilies and always admire the details and how much work each one took the person. Like you, I only use them to look at as I would hate for a spill to ruin all of the beautiful work.
