I found these trailer themed towels at Wal-mart and bought 3 of them..
I bought some plaid flannel fabric and cut it up, added batting and created a "pot holder with the flannel.. then I gathered the towel along the center and stitched it to the 'pot holder'...

the button doesn't show well,, but it looks like a metal 'baby moon' (hub cap)..

Now, what shall I make with the other 2 towels???

Those are so cute Grace, you are one talented lady. Is there nothing you do not sew and/or recreate? How I wish I had just half of your talent, you are Amazing!

Grace, you should try and crochet the top and make a hanging towel. Do you know what I mean? I made a couple summer ones a couple years back. Christmas ones would be nice. Plus I feel like they are easier pattern.

Krista,, actually that idea crossed my mind,,, but then I would have to go into town to buy red yarn... Oh wait, like I need an excuse... lol!

I have crocheted towel tops before,, and since I am in no hurry, that would be a good after Christmas relaxing project.. or you could come over for tea and we could crochet together,, after all, you are now 40min closer to your Aunt in Moscow...lololol! and I am just 3hours north of her... lololol!

Grace, your kitchen wares for your trailers are just adorable and your additions made them all the more special! You are amazing at that sewing machine out there in the Pacific NW!

Grace, that sounds fabulous! So we should plan a get together when I head that way! I have tons of red in different shades. To bad you aren't my neighbor. You could come grab some.

Grace, they turned out fabulous. They are going to look so pretty hanging up. I'm glad you found some red yarn.
