Kelly, your package went out today!
Marilyn, oh my , I react the same way! I even react like that to any bites l get, any more! I have an epipen! Do you? 4 times I had an anaphylactic reaction.
Don't worry about the swap. Whenever is fine by me. No rush! After the swelling then comes the itching! Get better my friend, that's most important!

April, I just received my Sunshine package and I love it! The photo block is sooo cute and creative....the knob is perfect! The pen and tag are also great, as well as the edibles that will disappear very soon. Thank you for a wonderful swap.

I received my altered wood block today. Tasha Tudor is an inspiration and a favorite of mine. Thank you Natalie. I love it and will cherish it. Perhaps I will make a display with it and a couple of the books I have of hers. I'm excited! The teas look great too. Thank you.

Natalie I really enjoyed your letter too, with the picture of your sweet hen. This evening while feeding my hens and gathering the eggs, I put some scratch in a small container in the method with my little black hen. She said thank you. Next I got some crumbles and put them in the same container, but I did not mix them. Again she said thanks. Finally I filled a bowl of fresh water for her and put it just outside the next box. Once again I heard her say thanks.
I told her thank you for being so sweet, she never hissed at me or tried to peck me.

Loretta, your FG box was delivered to the post office yesterday. You should receive it by Friday. Full disclosure...I did try to do a wood block but it was barely worthy to send to the trash....I am in CA and limited with materials...didn't know I would be traveling when I signed up...clearly not that that would have made much difference...soooooo, JoAnnes helped me out....but I did varnish it!!! This swap convinced me to go with what I know...fabric and fiber. I am so amazed with the creativity and cleverness of you ladies and your altered wood projects. Hugs and stitches!

I am happy you enjoyed everything. Tasha Tudor is one of my very favorites, too. I thought of her the whole time while making the block. She was so wise and witty.
Hens do let you know with their little sounds, and even the way they look at you. I think they can feel your kindness. It feels great to know that they know they are cared for. They can make sweet little friends.

Thanks for emailing me your address. I mailed out your wood block on Monday. I hope it gets there okay. Let me know if the wood glue held. It looked pretty strong but then again, I didn't roughhouse with it to test it. Fingers crossed!

Wow! the wooden block you sent me is SO CUTE! The bright turquoise color is so cheerful and goes with all my decor, and I love all the glitter and the button embellishments, too! I just love the mixed media look, and the texture and collage-y feel of your creation. I took some pics, but don't have any way to upload them right now... I should be able to within a few days, but if you have a pic you can share so others can see your handiwork, that works, too! And of course, thank you so much for the other goodies you enclosed-- sparkly bracelets, cute napkin, and tea. That was so thoughtful of you. Thanks again!!!
