4th of July is just around the corner.. so I decided to start pulling out and decorating with 4th of July whimsy..
My mini aprons from past swaps are popping up all around the house...

in the laundry room, the kitchen, off the refridge and range and off closet door knobs.. I hung them all up all around the house... I just hope I can remember where they are when it's time to swap them out... lol!

I decided to use the patriotic streamer ribbon banner for the front door..

and I have my wool felt 'toppers, around the living room...
I figure,, what the heck,, I will decorate early so I can enjoy my deco longer...
Anyone else started decorating?

Yes Grace!I've actually had mine all out since flag day on the 14th. I love decorating for the Patriotic holidays. Fits great with the rest of my Americana decor.

Are you a blond too Grace, really!?!
Lol.
Honestly, I am surprised I even remembered to put my things out. But I figured this way I can leave it all out clear through September.

Grace, l love your collection of ,omg aprons and your July 4th gathering decorations. I put my stuff out for Memorial Day weekend and carry on through early July. But since summer apples become ripe in the southern part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, orchards like Mercer's are offering Ginger Gold, June, and Zestar apples to both U-pick and to purchase already picked in their Apple store. So, of course, I start bringing out more apple stuff (some is out all year) in honor of those few East Coast southern apples that are available in July!

Oh wowzers,,, Winnie, my apples are not ready till late Aug... our tree has a smaller crop this year and my cherry trees are nearly bare thanx to a freakish wind/hail storm from a couple of weeks ago.. and what didn't freeze/hail off... the Robins are making short work of the rest!

Yep I sure did! I put my decorations up on Father’s Day. I love celebrating the 4th of July. I have been working on a couple crochet decorations as well. They may not b done before Saturday though. Story of my life lol! Love all your pretty decorations. We aren’t sure what we will be doing this weekend since our normal activities have been shut down with the virus. It’s going to seem so weird. Maybe we will just do fireworks and have some s’mores.

Hi Grace, It just always cracks me up. I think you are my spirit sister! I love Fourth of July and decorations for it. I love all of yours...especially the little mini aprons. So cute. I put out my Fourth of July stuff around Memorial Day and leave it up until Labor Day, when I start incorporating Fall.

My “shabby chic” porch is always done up in red, white and blue. We sit out there until Thanksgiving, when it finally becomes too cold to enjoy it. I also have a vintage flag plate and some tea stained flags I put out in my family room. Patriotic decor just screams “summer”to me.

We usually do a get together for July 4th, but this year we will just be three.

Oh Nicole,, yep,, going to be very different this year.. but I am thinking about pulling out one of the trailers,, and 4th of July-ing it up out back on the property.. and pretend we are Glamping with family and friends..

Wish I had a porch to decorate.. so I can sit out in my Rocker style Motel chair..
We have a lot of reno projects going on, in=large back porch, new rock siding out back, new driveway graded, huge tree removed, etc.. and all are taking a bit longer to get done,, especially trying to get Permits pulled with the County,, the County is a good 3-4 weeks out.. yikes!
Still waiting on the rest of the Well work, hole drilled and capped and ready for lines laid and electric hook up,, which is on the schedule for 7/10...
So it is "Hurry up and Wait" around here...

But I won't let the little stuff deter me from having fun and showing my pride for the Red White & Blue.
