Received a big bag of books from a wonderful lady I know. Didn't know which book to read first. So closed my eyes and this is the one.
I see where this author has written several books, they all look interesting.
Windy and warm here today flowers all look so pretty.

Lucky you! I love books! Bought 2 at a thrift and 2 at a store, yesterday! I don't need any more books but like fabric, you can never have enough books either! LoL!

Enjoy your books. I am so missing libraries right now. My favorite places. I ordered 2 books from the authors so I would have reading material.

Farmgirl friends are fun.

I'm also missing libraries. I'm running out of my audio books that put me to sleep at night.

Idea: what if we listed our available books and traded with each other?

I like that idea, Judith. How many to a list? I have two aunts living on my Mom's side of the family & I send books to them all the time. It would be fun to share with my Farm Sisters!

I just attended a book bag sale. You were able to fill a grocery bad full for $20. I was able to get 32 books in that bag, enough to keep me reading for awhile. The sale as held outside and everyone followed social distancing guidelines. I like Judith's idea, if we sent them media mail, which is much cheaper it would be fun.

My library lets you fill a bag for $2.00! That's right! I take mine to the Chemo centers throughout the area! Good idea to trade if the postage is cheap enough.

Our libraries are still pretty much closed. They have started a system whereby you can request books online and then set up an appointment to pick them up outside the library. It only applies to books the individual library owns, there is no interlibrary loan service or borrowing from nearby libraries.
Not sure how we could do book swaps here except just to list the books you want to give away and if someone wants it you can just media-mail it to them.
