Oh Marilyn, you ate so so sweet! God is hearing your prayers for sure. There is hardly any pain, unless I move it the wrong way. My fingers are getting back to normal! Checkup and xrays tomorrow!! Thank you SO MUCH sweet friend!!

I was stumbling around this site and stumbled by accident on this topic. And, lo and behold there is my own Dianna from the Found Word Swap, and she's the host no less. I've never done ATC's and, of course as usual, I'm a day late for this one. But I'll keep lurking and drop in next time, OK? Omgoodness, April and Jill!?? I try to make sure when we pull them out that you havent been partners in recent previous swaps. I need you guys to help! Yikes! I'm so sorry! I'll try to be super careful next time. Maybe I'll make a list of last 2 swaps and then repull a name if you've been partners before.
Marilyn, I think I'm doing pretty good actually but hopeful! Been exercising my fingers when I take it out abd my grip is getting less painful and a little tighter. Still cant turn my wrist of lower it, like a wave. But this is only week 3. I feel good!! Thank you for the prayers!! :)

Dianna, be careful, did your doctor say anything about us healing more slowly as we age than young people do.
When Had was almost two, on the whirly gig with her sissy...she fell off. All of two feet, but she cried and cried. The next morning her doctor put a splint on it and wrapped it with ace bandages. Then, because she did not like it and tried to peel it off...the horse shoer wrapped duct tape around it. That fixed her right up. Big crocodile tears! But two weeks later when she saw the only orthopaedic doc in town. He thoroughly checked it out took a pic.and pronounced her healed! Two years later when I crushed my left wrist. It took almost four months.

Marilyn, they said a complete heal would take 6 months!! I'm taking all my vitamins and drinking bone broth. I wont tax it anymore than he tells me too! Yep, I admit I am old(er)! Haha! ( with crocodile tears also)
