Hi everyone!
I am back hosting this swap; many thanks to Judith for filling in for me!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
For this swap, we will create a positive-themed notecard cover or postcard with found word art turned into prose, write a little note, and mail it off to our partner.
There’s two basic ways you can do this. First way would be to find a page out of a magazine/book/lengthy page of junk mail, find a good section within it, circle/box around/highlight individual words or short phrases to create your prose, and then black out all of the words you did not choose. This way is difficult, but very satisfying if you can do it.
The second way you could do this would be to cut out individual words or short phrases from the pages of magazines, books, junk mail, boxed food packages, etc. and string them together to make short prose. If you cannot find a key word you are needing, you could cut out individual letters to make your word.
No worries about perfect grammar or even making perfect sense, we are creating art with what we find, that’s the beauty of it all. Let’s have fun!
Feel free to further decorate your card or postcard however you like.
NO TUCKS in this swap, please. We’re keeping it simple. Thank you!
Sign-ups will be until Aug. 31, partners posted Sept. 1ish. Please contact your partner for their address. Let’s mail out our cards/postcards by Sept. 15.

Omg Dianna ! Got your art today and its incredible. I absolutely love nature and bears, so the poem was "spot on perfect" ! I decorate very log cabin....moose, bears, wolves (my fave), & woods. Thanx so much, its definitely going in a frame ! ...and your eco cards are AMAZING ! I love them !!!
I did my art with more of a single or couple words only, so I HOPE Marilyn likes it too.

Mine is almost done. I will be away from my home until Monday. I put my cat down today and drove to Wisconsin to put him in the pet cemetery at my parents' place.

Marie...that is so sad to have to say goodbye to a pet. When I had to take Cookie our pound kitty to have her put Down...it wss the hardest thing I've done. Prayers that your heart will mend quickly. God bless you.
