Yesterday I received my Thanksgiving Swap from Winnie - Winnie you made my day! A beautiful hand crafted cowl that is so appropriate for me, this morning it was a brisk 8 degrees, yes EIGHT! Included was a wonderful Market Bag which I will put to use, tea, hot chocolate, a lovely kitchen towel, a cute little spatula and several colorful tags with happy notes. Thank you Winnie. I have also included a picture of my ficus tree. My husband passed away 11 years ago, one of the many plants received was this ficus - oh how it has grown. I have named it my blessing tree and have begun hanging tags, tucks and other little gifts received from Farmgirls and friends. It is a joy to walk past it and visit the memories of the special things that are hanging on the tree. There is certainly joy and happiness in little things. Thank you to all the wonderful Farmgirls. Gail, I am delighted that you enjoyed your swap goodies. Good Grief, 8 degrees one morning lastly week. We never saw below 73 all week long because of the tropical storm Eta in the Gulf all week .
