It's back by popular demand !!!
LAST CALL FOR THE DOTEE DOLL
All who participated in February had so much fun - let's do it again.
Dotee Dolls are the creation of Dorothy Christian (Dot), and are named after her. Dotees are small handmade dolls that usually measure between 3 to 5 inches tall and have a loop on the top of the head for hanging and a tail hanging from the bottom of the doll. The tail is usually made of beads. These dolls are embellished with beads, embroidery floss, buttons or anything else the artist chooses to use with a face that is either embroidered, painted or drawn. You can find hundreds of examples on the internet. Check out the February Dotee Swap to see what our Sisters created.
Sign up by by April 21st, partners posted on the 22nd, mail by May 1st.
Be sure to post a picture when you receive your doll. Everyone wants to see their own dotee doll displayed. Thank you for coming out to play again.

I guess I did because those are all the ones I received in return. I didn't know I did that many.
I enjoyed it, I think that was in 2013 or earlier.
It was a lot of fun. All Mary Jane Farm swaps. So many ideas, It surprised me when I opened the bag with them in it.
Soo cute. The last one I just received was the one next to the Red White and Blue one.

Darlene!! Love your collection!! You need to display them on a shelf with cup hooks to hang them, oh how cute that would be ! I remember seeing those swaps! but I was very new to MJF and not sure if I could do one.
