I familiarized myself with ways to decorate my home that are green. I looked up echo friendly decorating ideas. Use less energy, use less water, use less non renewable resources. Green design does not need to be expensive you can shop at thrift stores, recycle, reuse, repurpose. Create a water well out of Mason jars and put in a Sunny West facing window. The water absorbs the heat and will help cool the house. Add color  to the water. Use carpet tiles or wool carpet. Recycle when done. Some home improvements are tax deductible. |
