Our Krista Butters-Davis has a Twin/alter ego .. lol!
I was dropping donations off at one of my favorite Thrifts, and ya know the Rule... Drop off, must go in and by more stuff! Lol!
I always peruse the books and look what I found, I had to take a double look!

I could not resist, I bought the book, even though it wasn't written by our own Krista,,, heeheehee!

Oh, Katmom, you'll be hooked. There are beaucoup (that's Cajun for many) in this series. I have read them all and they are delightful mysteries. Best of all are the delicious recipes at the end of each book. And then she has another series about a pet friendly B&B that's delightful too. If you enjoy good whodunnits and yummy treat how to's, this is for you. Now be forewarned, our heroine definitely has a temper, and kind of a complex love life, but if steamy sex and lots of four letter words are your cup of tea (which I know they are not), you'll be disappointed.
So having said all that . . . make a cup of tea and grab a couple of those cookies you made, if there are any left, and curl up by the fire with this delightful read. I'm betting you will love it. A great way to while away a cold, snowy day.
hugs,
jean

Hmmmmmm, I guess I didn't explain myself very well. I thought I indicated there was no offensive language or sex. This entire series is definitely PG rated. See my answer to your email for more details. This entire series as well as the Paws & Claws series are fun light-hearted reads and the recipes are awesome -- I've tried many.
hugs,
jean

This is a new author to me but the discussion here has me intrigued. I need to see what our library has to check out .

Oh Grace, how I wish I could take credit!! I have seen her books before but haven’t read any yet. I actually came across her for the first time in a book store in Europe. Let me know what you think! I would love to read them.
