What better way to enjoy the long dog days of summer, than to lay out a quilted picnic blanket, curl up with good book, a summer straw hat and read the day away! How about adding a quilted can cozy to this scene!
You would create a quilted can cozy from any wonderful and lovely fabric scraps you have on hand, bedazzle it with different thread stitchings, perhaps embroidery, buttons, patches, or just different fabric scraps with any quilted pattern you can come up with! The sky is the limit!
One partner each.
Sign ups through June 25th.
Mail out by June 30th.

Thanks for joining, Karen. I'm still not sure how I'm going to construct one, but will definately give it a shot. I came across the idea this morning and thought it would be a cute addition to any picnic basket or even when we're porchin' on our own front porch!

And, thank you, Heather. My heart is craving quiet picnic time this summer and honestly, a quilt to lay the foundation for that picnic is the only thing that keeps popping into my thoughts. A summer straw hat, a good book and a gentle breeze, that just sounds so lovely to me.

I made them in the 2 styles I found on Pinterest. Not sure which I liked best so sent them both. Lol!
These are easy to make and are a great small gift.
