Dianna, thank you for posting the photos. They are just beautiful. You have inspired me to keep on trying even if the ribs and back do not want to help me out.

Oh Marilyn! I'm so sorry to hear this! I'm telling you, getting older is NOT for the faint of heart! I hope you can find a comfortable spot to prop yourself up and art with a lap board or something!! I take relief factor and mega, 3,6,9,11 for my RA! Helps a LOT! Especially on days like today and yesterday, mowing 15 acres and tilling up the garden! Maybe relief factor will help you too??

There are too many overachievers in this group. We are heading home today and I will be able to start working on the pages for Marlene. Please no rush on mine, Marlene - we have until the end of August. Lol!

I'm curious. We can't possible decorate EVERY page in that small journal. How many pages are you decorating? Is there a set number of doexorates pages va pages for writing? I know we can tape or staple pages together. This is all new to me. Thanks for some hints.

Linda -- As I indicated in several posts, you DO NOT have to decorate every page. There's no set number to decorate or not to decorate. Just do whatever feels right to you. That's what this is all about -- No theme, no rules, just let your muse guide you.

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX IS JUST FINE !!! And, I confess I definitely did. After making all those books for the swap plus a few extra for gifties, I was pretty burned out on that particular three sectioned Piano Hinge book...

You've no doubt heard of the movie "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"? Well, Marilyn is getting her DDJJ in three sections all right, but three separate sections: "The Big, The Tiny, and The Blank". Yep A big junk journal, a teeny tiny junk journal and a blank one for her to play with however she likes. Photo shows covers. She can show any inside pages she wants to. Now what do y'all think about them apples?? LOL.

Very nice! I love the “anything goes” feel to this. So let us all go forth and create with “reckless abandon”, LOL!!

I have a three-sectioned book in mind. The first section will be depictions of one of my favorite songs. (I'm not telling which song or even the composer. I imagine few people know it.) The second section is based on a swap that my partner and I were in. The third section will be very nice. I don't want to give it away. This section will be a trial run of some crafting I wish to do later. I plan to do something unique with the center folds of each section. Each will be different, and I don't yet know how. Right now, I am decorating the insides of the covers.

Hello Dianna,
I received your awesome Junk journal JUST NOW!! Whoo-hoo. I love every page and yes, I love flowers. Thank you so very much. I am so happy you went the extra mile in my journal. Your work is beautiful. The complete opposite of my style. I will be mailing your journal on Monday. YAY.

I have no idea where this message is going. LOL. I could have driven to Jack, Alabama faster than it took to find a place to write my thank you to you. Yes, it is a 8 hour drive but I kept trying. There may be hope for me yet. But don't hold your breathe.

Fondly,
Barbie

Again, thank you for the wonderful journal and all the gifties. Love love love them.
