I have three or four of these. Two from family, the other from the thrift store. They all play music when I take the top off. But
didn't they used to be for powder too?

I’m not sure Nancy Jo, I have never seen ones like that. I love wind up music boxes though!

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

I love music boxes and have a sweet little collection but never like those! Pretty cool!!

Those music boxes are new to me too, How fun to have a little collection of them. I have a little Christmas tree that my Mom made with decorations and it winds up and plays the song "Toyland. Toyland".
