Dianna -- Trade ya. Yep. We're having another blizzard here in northern Idaho. And, I suspect Katmom is getting hammered too in Spokane. This is the Eternal Winter, and this current storm is supposed to last till mid-week. But trying to look on the positive side, perhaps March will come in like a lion and go out like a lamb as the old saying goes . . .

Hi Debbie - We heard that the Oregon coast got quite a dumping of snow. My brother-in-law lives at Seal Rock, OR, and they lost power and had a lot of trees down along their road. We're in the midst of a winter wonderland here in Bend too. We did some skiing at Willamette Pass over the weekend & then stopped in at Salt Creek Falls before heading home. What a magical site to see the waterfall partially frozen. I have never seen anything like it before. Stay warm!!

The snow is finished for now we are back to rain. But, I did enjoy the beautiful snow.

WOW, these accounts of the snow along the Oregon coast are really out of the usual patterns! The photo of the partially frozen water fall is beautiful and I have never seen anything like it before. I have to admit that I am like Dianna and miss the snow! I grew up in Virginia and we always had snow in the Winter and got snow days off from school. My favorite snow memories are those where we went to this neighbor's backyard and got to sled down this great hill. We would spend hours out there sledding until we were soaking wet and frozen. But oh what fun we had!!

Jean, I HEARD you all were getting socked! My sister is in Nebraska and says shes snowed in , AGAIN, for the umpteenth time this year! I'm so sorry for yall! Really! Id rather have snow than tornadoes tho! ;) Stay warm! Spring IS COMING!!

I went to bed last night and when I woke up this morning I thought am I back in Colorado? What? Yes, that’s right it has snowed again and it is cold! Is this all a dream? I am done with snow please, it’s not suppose to snow here on the coast of Oregon. Wah! I want to go walk on the beach Friday. But, the wind and cold oh no!

Last night we had a hard hail storm in our coastal area! I would much rather have snow!
I don’t remember when I ever heard it that loud here.
It sure scared my kitty!

I agree Debbie. We have gotten more snow this year than I can recall for years now. Many years ago we use to get tons of snow but it has really slowed down over the years. It feels like we are all getting loads of winter weather that we have been missing for so many years. And even in places we shouldn't. Hopefully all this weather change will be good for our summer though.

This has been a crazy year for weather..
I am thinking of hitching up the sled to my herd of flamingos and heading to Hawaii,,, Heck if Santa can fly in a sled pulled by reindeer,, I can certainly do the same with 'mingos!!!
