It's been a while since I've posted and then only infrequently, but I got to thinking about the girls who used to post here on a regular basis long ago and far away. I hardly recognise the 'new girls' on the blog and was wondering about the "old gals" of which I am one!

Where are they now and what adventures have they been up to?

Hi Melody,
I'm one of those farmgirls who have been absent, but hope to be here more often again. I did post a few days ago about why I've been gone.
Hope you are doing well!

Hi Melody,
I remember when you joined the forum. I've been around for awhile. Many of the gals from back then have moved on to fb. Have seen so many come and go over the years. It is nice to see you here again!

I agree with Denise. I too have seen many come and go over the years. Are there any ladies in particular you are asking about?

I'm one of those old Farmgirls - #1444! It's been years since I posted as "life happened" -- The good, the bad, and the really ugly. But, I'm getting things back on track and Mary Janes Farmgirl Sisterhood always brought me such peace. So, I'm back and anxious to get involved again.

I remember a quilt block swapper named Kathy Hart. Anyone know how to get a hold of her?

Good to see you Mel, CJ, Diana and Betsy. I have seen a lot of ladies come and go in the 17 years I have been on here.

Even with my recent times of absentia, I haven't really been gone. And, like Julie, I've seen many comings and goings in the 14 years I've been here.
I hope to be less absent in the future.

There was one particular gal I've been thinking about lately--I believe she lived in Amsterdam? And, her brother bought her a house in Thailand--Just curious to see how that turned out.

Julie!! Gosh, I remember the honey you sent me once. Hope you are well and in good spirits.

CJ!! We were just in Colorado a little over two years ago for my daughter's wedding. It was stunning-we were at the Rocky Mountain National Park for the nuptials near a beautiful lake-It was breathtaking. My first time in CO and I fell in love.

Diana!! It's been so long. I hope you are doing well.

My goodness, I miss this forum. It's been an especially difficult winter here in the Great North Woods. And, I am not getting any younger and my thoughts seem to gravitate to the past recently.

It was so nice seeing your responses.

I remember her. Wasn’t her screen name Dutchy? It was always interesting to read her posts.

Mel, I remember your wonderful soaps. My husband loved the smell of your red clover tea. Those were some of the best barters. My honey shelves are always over flowing so it helped to clear them off a bit.

It is so great to see a few, old familiar faces back on here.

It was Dutchy! I once sent her some pumpkin pie spice and a few other things many moons ago.

I think I've been here since 09. I do wish the forum was phone friendly. I'd be in here more often because I no longer own a laptop. #128532;

Mel, I'm in the southwest corner of Colorado. There are 400 miles between me and Denver, along with several major mountain passes and the Colorado Rockies mountain range.
I also enjoyed your soaps and some body lotion. . . lovely things. Remember the piano you had and sending me some of the keys? Well I still enjoy them!

CJ--Oh my gosh---I'd forgotten about the piano keys! My daughter was married in CO 2years ago in October actually at Rocky Mountain National Park-It was STUNNING. I told Bruce we have to get back to CO again. We drove all the way there and stayed in Loveland. What a trip. No longer doing the soap shows just once a year make about a dozen batches for the family. I hope you are well and in good spirits CJ. I think of the girls on the forum a lot.

I am one who used to be here a lot but fell to the side. Hoping to be back more often. Still farming but downsized from 50 head of black angus to 8 at the moment. Hope to keep in 10-15 range. Still have my layers 17, with a dozen more chicks that came this week. Egg demand is high #9786;#65039;.

Working on more self sufficiency as with what the world is think it will be more important than ever. Anxiously awaiting garden season as here need to wait couple more weeks before planting. Finally got rid of the snow! #128563;

Hope all are doing great!

Hay there ladies. I suppose I'm one of the "old" ones. Sister #1093. I pop in and out and I hope to do more of that coz ya'll bring a warmth to my day. I love reading what everyone posts and seeing ya'lls accomplishments. I have Farmgirl gifts scattered all over my home and camper. Ya'll, old and new sisters, are awesome. I admire all of you. Hugs.

Hugs and prayers, Daizy #1093
