Well we had such lovely weather for almost 2 weeks,,, then WHAMMM! we got slammed with rains and flash floods today,, and rain on and off in the forecast..
It rained so hard here a bit ago,, that water got forced under/through the door, and the sidewalks around our house were literally under water.. yikes.. rains have calmed down now,,, thank goodness...
Hope everyone is staying warm and dry... Never fear, Summer is almost here!

First day I have been able to work outside! Yay! Warmer and some sun! Did alot an loved it!
Hopefully this will be the last hard storm for the northwest Katmom and you have nothing but polite rain from here till August!

Vickie, well the rains have let up... but dang.... the winds are horrible, knocking off the blossoms off our trees.... Left night The started kicking up so, that I had to go out and taken down some of my hanging yard deco... thank goodness my Lilacs are pretty hardy and next to the house but my poor Peony's are looking a bit bedraggled, so I had to stake them up..
Uugh, come on Summer I need a dose of vitamin S (sunshine) .

We just got through 2 days of rain, ending with snow last night. I have not been outside yet to check the rain gauge, yesterday it was at 2.75 inches of rain from overnight Friday night through Sunday. I hope we get some vitamin S soon also, so we can dry out.

Sorry you got snow Michele! We can't complain too loudly about our cool 40's and low 50's here in the Chicago area. It has been a very wet and cool spring for us. Needless to say we all do the Snoopy happy dance whenever the sun does come out!

97 - heat index 116 Summer has finally come to northeast Texas. Dreaming of that first blue norther to blow out of Ok, across the Red River into TX, and cool us down.

Sara, that sounds like desert weather to me! Whew!!! We are having the non-stop 90 degrees with high humidity every single day. Like you, I can't wait for the first cold front to finally break down across the Florida-Georgia border! For us, that might happen in late October, but usually it just means less humidity and temps in the mid 80s and maybe 60 at night. But, that sounds like heaven to me right now!!

Whew, my first tornado alert! It passed us to the north here in Fort Worth, (We haven't moved yet to our new house). I hope none of my FG sisters got hit that live in North and Upper East Texas. Last I heard it was heading toward Quiltee's way. Linda O. I hope you are ok. Little scared for you.

As of today,, Northern California is getting hammered with winds and continued fires,, while here on the west plains of Spokane, WA., it is snowing..
