This is such a nice magazine from England. Hard to find here in the states. Some places do sell it, but not near me. I posted four or five pictures, every page is just as pretty as the ones I posted. Great magazine.

You can get them at Barnes and Noble Book Stores.
They get 14 Magazines in and they are usually sold out
in two days. This is my all time favorite magazine.
Tammy Cummings introduced me to it.

Looks like a magazine I'd enjoy . . . have to look for it but I doubt I'll find it here. Rural community in the boonies and NO Barnes & Noble . . . or any other bookstore for that matter . . . for hundreds of miles.

Nancy Jo...where do you get yours from then?

That is weird your Barnes & Noble doesn't carry them. Have you
asked at their information desk? know that our West Coast
Barnes and Nobles all do.

Sorry CJ that you don't have any bookstores. How sad. I live at
my Barnes and Noble...it is my OFFICE! LOL

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Peggy, I got two from E'bay and one from Amazon. They were all from the states and free shipping. They don't have anymore now. I asked at out Barnes and noble and they said they had never heard of it. What!!! And it would cost over a hundred dollars to get the 8 issue subscription from the Daphne site. magazine about 45.00 and shipping about 60.00. Yippes! I will keep looking.

Nancy Jo...then why would other Barnes and Nobles carry it...if the cost was so prohibitive???
Tammy C was able to order two copies for herself from her Barnes and Noble in California.
I think somebody just doesn't want to deal with it...in your Barnes and Noble or doesn't have
a clue HOW to deal with it. When I first asked at my Barnes & Noble when it first came out...
they told me they didn't have it and never heard of it blah blah blah...and then low and behold
I found one remaining copy on their Magazine Rack. I went back to their information desk and
showed them what it looked like. Then the next month...I got the same run around...but at that time
the magazine just hadn't hit our store yet for the second distribution. When it came in...I again
took it to their information desk and showed them what it looked like and too the gal over to
the Magazines and showed her where they were in case some one else asked about it.

Tammy C. gets her copy of the magazine in her Barnes and Noble 3-4 weeks ahead of when we get it
here in WA State. And I find that pretty crazy too.

Now that you know what it looks like...just be on the look out for it in your store. I will tell
you that here...I find it in the Crafting Section of Magazines or even in with the Knitting and
Crocheting Magazines. Sometimes it is in a Stack at the bottom of the racks about ankle level.

I guess I shared all this to tell you NOT to just take employees words for stuff. I find that half
the time I know more about what they have in their store than they do. I was a Christian Book
Store Manager for 12 years...and I live at my current BnN about 4 or 5 days a week. In fact I get
asked all the time by people to help them...because they think I work there. LOL First I tell them
that I don't work there...then I show them what they are looking for.

The Managers at Barnes and Noble are always asking me if I want to work there part time. I would if I
could but I can't because of my Fibro. I miss The Bookstore Retail Business...so much!!! It was my
passion.

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Peggy,
Thanks for all the info. I will keep trying. I can understand spending so much time in a book store, I would do the same thing. I try and get over there about once a month. I guess if you really wanted to work a Bookstore would be a fun place. Thanks again Peggy for all the info.

Nancy Jo -

I just found it at Barnes and Noble last night! I am ADDICTED! What a lovely, lovely magazine! So different! So much fun! Totally up my alley! Thank you for the recommendation!

I did the math... The cost at the newsstand is comparable to an 8 month subscription...

Thanks again!

Hugs -

OK Girls...I'm going to share a little Secret...especially for you girls who aren't close to a book store.

You can go to Unique Magazines (web site) and order the Daphne's Diary for $8.00 and shipping for $2.00
(and yes, you can do this one magazine at a time) and have it shipped directly to your house. I just
recently discovered this from a friend of mine. And you are saving from the Retail Cost.

So, ENJOY!!!!

Hugs,
Peggy

Okay - I just have to ask those of you who have these beautiful magazines in hand: Do you actually punch out and use the beautiful papers, postcards, ephemera and little "gifts" and projects included in the magazine? This month they have BEAUTIFUL vase wraps that would be such a lovely accent for flowers on my holiday tables. I SO want to use them, but I just can't bring myself to remove them! What is a girl to do?! Hugs - Nini

No, so far I haven't been able to cut or punch any of the pretties out of the magazine. I have thought about it, but not brave enough yet to do it. I figure it must be some kind of sickness.

Wow CJ the shipping price must have just gone up. I have been paying $2.00.
So, that means you are paying retail...but it is coming direct to you...which
is good.

Nini...I absolutely CANNOT do the projects in this Magazine. It is too Beautiful to
tear up. But I also get The Magazine Flow...which is even more expensive than Daphne's
Diary...but I have no problem using it for crafting etc. It isn't as much Eye-Candy
as D.Diary is.

Love and Happy Reading,
Peggy

Received the new November issue today . . . gorgeous magazine. BUT I certainly wasn't happy to see that someone at Unique Magazine slapped an UGLY barcode sticker right smack dab in the middle of the front cover! I was sort of able to peel it off.
