My daughter-in-law, who is also a farmgirl on the MJFG forum, has been in the hospital since last Sunday. She is a volunteer firefighter here in our little community, and has had bad back pain since she fell when on a training course for the VFD last July. If anyone would consider sending her a card to boost up her spirits, you can send me a MJF message and I will send her name and address.
She has participated in several MJFG swaps since she joined the forum last year.

Thank you.

Oh, dear - I just noticed I sent at least one person the incorrect address. Please check what I sent and the correct address should be 7693, not 7963.

I am also going to let my postmistress know what I did - this is a small town and I think they can catch this.

Thank you everyone for sending Michelle cards. They have been cheering her up when the mail arrives. She is feeling better and according to the latest doctor reports will be having surgery to correct the disc problems within the next couple months.

She is unable to get on the Internet now, but will be responding to everyone as soon as she can.

Thank you all again for all your Farmgirl hugs to Michelle.

Yes, sounds like the doctors are finally all on the same page and are agreeing that surgery is necessary. She is using a walker to get around, which is not easy out here in the country. Thank you, again, for sending her a little cheer. She was very surprised and is very appreciative.

Yay! Glad to hear there is a plan to lessen her pain. Too bad they will wait a couple more months!

Thank you all for your cards and notes of encouragement for my daughter-in-law, Michelle. Hopefully soon she will have the back surgery she needs to start the road to recovery and no more (or at least a lot less) back pain.
You are all special angels for sending cards like you did. Thanks, again.

I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for the kind cards and words or encouragement. They do really help. I have gotten so many pretty envelopes and cards. I almost feel bad opening them cause I'm afraid I will destroy all your hard work.. My kids have even started yelling "FARMGIRL MAIL" as they run down the drive way with your cards. In time I will get send each of you a personal Thank You card.
As for my back, we are in a holding pattern. Workers Comp is trying to say my injury is not work related. But I have a total of 7 Dr's saying it is. Once this is all worked out. I will be having surgery, possible fusion, and a spinal cord simulator done. I'm ready to get back to my farmgirl life and I'm sure my horses and alpacas miss me being out in the pasture with them.

Linda...please email her address. I would love to send her a card.
I have a son-in-law who is a Firefighter too...and I know they are dead tired fighting
the 20 fires raging in our State. My heart goes out to all these men and women who lay
their lives on the line for us.

Hugs and Prayers,
Peggy
