These are just so great! I love your responses, girls!
Julie - I posted mine a little bit after the original post... Maybe we crossed somehow? Anyway, they're up there! Thanks for asking!!! :)
Sara - I think my dehydrator is my number 2 favorite toy!!! :)
Oh, Nicole! You just reminded me of my A-frame dollhouse my Grandpa made for me! AND he made me a kitchen set out of cardboard that was just the most awesome thing!!! Choking and welling up right now!!! :) I'm going to have to change my answer a little bit, because all of them went together, hand-in-hand!!!!! And you know what else? I have NEVER seen "Gone With The Wind" OR "Breakfast at Tiffanys!!!" They're on my list, though! SO many friends have told me how much I'd love them! :)
Can't wait to see what everyone else's answers!!!

Great topic, Nini. I love everyone's answers. I can almost peg what decade y'all grew up in by the choice of favorite song. Isn't that funny? Music, radio, etc... was/is the soundtrack to our lives.
While growing up, what was your…
Favorite toy: my Shetland pony that I rode every day
Favorite book: Charlotte's Web
Favorite movie: Wizard of Oz
Favorite song: Musckrat Love by Captain and Tennille
Favorite meal: My mom's smothered chicken

Favorite toy: My John Deere tractor
Favorite book: Bible
Favorite movie: The Patriot (aim small, miss small)
Favorite song: Creed by Rich Mullins
Favorite meal: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo
Favorite holiday: Christmas
Favorite hobby/pastime: Oh my goodness, I can't pick a favorite. It depends on my mood for the day or moment. Sewing, quilting, reading, painting, gardening, designing, construction projects... But, the one thing that brings the most relaxation to my brain is riding on my tractor.

Nini, girl, about 'Gone With the Wind'... I can't believe you haven't seen it. Growing up in the South, watching that movie was an annual event for us.
All us farmgirls will have to watch it at the same time and chat on here about it while we watch it. Oh my! the costumes, the homes, the decor, Scarlett's attitude, how handsome Rhett is, so much to chat about.

Catherine...I love Creed by Rich Mullins too! I managed 2 Christian Book Stores and so I have an entire play list of Christian songs I love. But when I answered my questions I was thinking just Christmas for some reason. Maybe because it's my favorite Holiday.
Girls...I think Wizard of Oz is the all time favorite of most of us. Where I grew up for some silly reason The Wizard of Oz was always aired on TV two weeks before Christmas...so it was our Tradition as a family to put up our Christmas Tree that same night. LOL As an adult I always put it up on Thanksgiving Night...but this year I put it up the Sunday before. We have a grand-daughter due on Dec. 17th...but mommy isn't going to make it that long. She is already dilated to 1 cent. and is 80% effaced. I just hope she makes her debut in Dec.
I'm enjoying reading everyone's answers...and yes, we are aging ourselves by them. LOL
Hugs and Christmas Joy, Peggy
